Honor Flight Columbus is a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring America’s veterans with a trip to Washington DC to visit their service and war memorials. These trips are free of charge to any qualified veteran. We strive to help veterans share their stories with future generations, as well as celebrate their service to our country with a proper homecoming that many of them never received. With the conclusion of the 2023 flight season, we have successfully flown 128 missions that totaled over 9,300 veterans. Our organization is funded entirely by donations from various businesses, foundations, school organizations, and other grateful Americans.

Foster based rescue group focusing on dogs with special needs.SPEAK! for the Unspoken is a registered 501(c)(3) pet rescue located in Central Ohio area. We are a small foster based rescue, devoted to animal rescue and specializing in special needs rescue and education. Since we are a foster based rescue, all of the animals in our program are cared for in a loving home, including medical bills, food, microchips and preventative care.

Gladden Community House is a settlement house located in the heart of Franklinton on the near west side of Columbus, Ohio. As a mission driven non-profit agency, we offer a broad range of social services to individuals, families, and groups.

Our Children’s Residential Center provides a safe structured environment to meet the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs of children from all across Ohio who have been abused, neglected and traumatized by the people they should be able to trust most. Children ages 6-18 live in spacious cottages and are provided with therapeutic, social, spiritual and educational opportunities designed to aid the child with the healing process, model for them how a healthy family functions, develop coping and life skills, and introduce them to Jesus Christ. CCHO is accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Families, licensed by Ohio Dept. of Job and Family Services, certified by Ohio Dept. of Mental Health, and a member of the Ohio Association of Child Caring Agencies.

Canine Companions is leading the service dog industry so our clients and their dogs can live with greater independence. We provide service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities and facility dogs to professionals working in healthcare, criminal justice and educational settings. Since our founding in 1975, our dogs and all follow-up services are provided at no cost to our clients.
